AFter screen saver goes off, I notice that my screen has turned white. What does this mean. My monitor is 2 years old.

This is called Burn In or LCD residue. Normal wear on monitors. To save this from happening quicker, when the monitor is not being used, just press the monitor power button and shut the screen down instead of using the screen saver. You can still leave the computer running, when your ready to use it again just turn on the power button to the monitor.
