Ac fan would blow / no cols air maintainance went out said something was unpludded then had air but elect bill went higher than any other. 67 to 267 highest for this unit was 190 at christmas. Can you tell me what was unplugged and if why it would have been left that way and what happens to utility bill if it was plugged in and not repaired. turned unit off one month bill is back to 61 and they blame my dryer

Unit will start cooling and compressor will run for about 5 minutes. Compressor stops and error code "E3" is displayed on panel. The mode can be switched to "Fan", then "Heat", then back to "Cool" and the compressor will come back on, the unit will cool for 5 minutes, then stop. When the compressor is running the unit cools very well. I had to buy a condenser fan (with the slinger ring) from a Remington dealer. I believe this unit was actually manufactured by McQuay and Fedders put their name on it. Thanks in advance.
