You do not "install" a router. The router goes between the cable or DSL modem and your computer.
Using your computer's Browser, go to http://192.168.1.1 and it should bring up the login screen. Whatever manual you got with the Netgear will have the login info. Once logged in, you can set your network's name (SSID) and set up your wireless security, if so equipped.

I have just bought a wireless router, model di-524. After making all necessary conections, I have typed the address http://192.168.0.1, according to the manual instructions. However, the browser return me the message "Unauthorized". How can I fix this problem?
