There are a lot of reasons to set sound drivers that are not working. First is, are you sure that from the BIOS is your sound setting is ENABLE or DISABLE.
Verify that this sound card is High Definition Audio or not.
Use Diagnostic Solution that can provide detailed information about your Hardware and Software. Like for example: ASTRA32.com
And check your built-in is OK or not. Or maybe your sound card is defective already.
