well you need to update the firmware of your gps also call garmin customer support they are great tell them about the map, also the poor satelite cover might be because of your location or weather conditions
Here is the link for the full Nuvi 200 manual. No, you do not need to send the unit back. You can purchase a map online and download the map to your Nuvi using a USB to mini-USB cable.
Go into the setup menu and choose maps. A screen will come up telling you what maps are installed. If nothing is there, you may have to reinstall the maps (you'd have to contact Garmin for this).
