Will Intel 965 Extreme Edition / 3.73 GHz work with this board - ECS P43T-A2 - cpu fan comes on but no video

You can also use any other intel 775 socket processor as well. The dual cores are at the top of the list for performance that are compatible with that board, but if you're looking for a cheaper solution, I have that board with a 3GHz pentium 4 and it runs great. run the onboard if you have one and go into the bios there's normally an option to choose what order to boot graphics devices eg. PCIE>IGP etc hope this helps.

When the CPU overheats it shuts down especially if you overclock it.
Did you put any heatsink compound between the CPU and the heatsink (this aids heat transfer from the CPU to the heatsink/fan)?

Your BIOS may have a setting that can adjust the CPU fan speed/temperature.
You can install additional fan/s in the case to draw more air into the computer case.
To further cool the CPU, you might have to install a better and more efficient cooling heatsink/device/fan on the CPU.

i want to use windows vista. my CPU type like this. but it is not support the vga and sound. i don't have disc driver . where should i download it?
