That usually means there is no film in the camera or it has rewound and the film needs to be removed. To be sure, you should open the film door in a dark room with no light from windows or doorways.

Yes, Just make sure you open it in a dark room so you won't ruin any exposed frames of your film in case it has not rewound completely.

You have to place your right thumb & press firmly in on the right lower side of the flash (4AA Battery Magazine Cartridge) while holding on the left side with your left hand.

Press firmly in & then slide it down with your thumb.

Whenever I try to put on the flash, it says no flash in the macro mode. What does thaat mean and what do i do!!! Its really frustrating because it already doesn't take good pictures and i need the flash.

Macro mode is used for taking close-up pictures. In this mode, as the camera says, you cannot use the flash. There's a slide switch on the left side of the camera, near the USB jack. To take the camera out of macro mode, slide it away from the flower and toward the mountain.

Why does my camera say macro mode when i try pitting the flash

There's a slide switch on the left side of the camera, near the USB port. Slide the switch away from the flower icon toward the mountain icon to switch it out of macro mode. The macro mode is for taking pictures of subjects very close to the camera, and the camera won't fire the flash when in macro mode.

When I turn my camera (DSC - T70) on, I get a flashing E:91:01 signal. I have no flash options to choose from. How can I fix this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for attention in...

try pressing the reset button(small hole when you open the slide) just use any pointed thing to press the button inside. (dont worry , its not going to delete anything from your pictures. :)

How do I get the flash to work. I have hit what looks like the flash button directly above the Ok button with no success yet in getting a flash to occur when taking a picture. Thanks for your help.

Check to see if your camera is on the macro function. The button is on the left side of the camera (as you are looking at the screen) and it is a slide button. If the camera is on macro, there will be a flower displayed on the screen. This is for close-up photos and will not allow the flash to be set. Slide the button up and a mountain should show on the tool bar of the screen, this is the far away setting. You should be able to set the flash settings now. Good luck.

My S630 Samsung shows a code on the screen evry time I try to take a picture. The code is F2.8 1/45 and the little eye on the left that indicates the flash blinks for a few seconds.

your carera is set on shutter priority,,,
change it to auto
what its telling you is,, its set at a lens opening of F2.8 ( thats wide open ,,,so little or no depth of field in photos) ,(and a shutter speed of 1.45 of a second?) witch means its realy dark were you are??
the little eye flashing tells you to use the flash,,,
i bet you have left it set on flash photos only?
switch it over to auto mode and out of flash mode!

If the camera is in auto mode, the flash opens anytime the camera feels that it cannot take the picture with only ambient light. You can overcome this by closing the flash once the camera opens it or using a manual mode. In manual mode, the flash opens only if you press the flash button on the left side of the flash housing.

My pics come out half black when I use the X-370 flash

motley45

this happens when the shutter speed is not correct. set the speed to 1/60 sec.
if the X-370 flash is new it may not be compatible with your camera. with the flash turned on it should set the shutter speed automatically to either 1/60sec or 1/125sec. looking in the finder the shutter speed should not change to various amounts of light. if the shutter speed changes with the flash turned on it is not dedicated to your camera.

Flash doesn't work

You may have selected "Flash output" - look that up in the camera settings. In M mode, go to the menu, go to [flash +/-] icon, adjust flash with left and right arrows and press FUNC. You can take test photos while adjusting with the arrows.

Also, the effect of the flash quickly diminishes with distance so if your objects are distant the built in flash is too weak to light them, but the camera has no way of knowing this. In contrary, when not using the flash, your camera adjusts its exposure to the amount of light available (hold the camera steady!)
