It is the sound card drivers problem. Either they are not installed or wrong drivers are installed. if the sound card drivers were not installed, you can find them on the motherboard CD which u got at the time of purchase of your Computer. Insert the CD into the drive and install the proper Sound Card Drivers for your relevant Operating System.
