can not see screen, and do not know how to change battery

Fujitsu Air Conditioning split unit Model No:AOY24RMAL
Fully charged with Gas (R22)
Indoor Unit Does everythingit should do regarding functions (except delivering heat or cooling) No flashing error led's.
Out side Unit fan operates ok the compressor is hot and does not seem to be making a noise like a fridge, there is a big capacitor (start) mounted on top of the compressor (is this the most likeley fault a dodgy cap??)
Gas pressure on the suction side is 80psi with machine on or off.
