Have you set your router to be "invisible"? Router powered up and SSID defined? Security set?

make sure that the router is broadcasting with another computer? Make sure that the wireless is turned on. Go to my computer right click, click on manage, services,start the "wireless zero configuration service" this will let windows fine the network. Then try to browse for the network.
