MY RECENTLY BOUGHT LAPTOP IS BEING REFUSED THE WINDOWS 7 UPGRADE BECAUSE THE SERIAL NO.IS SAID TO BE INCORRECT.I HAVE REPEATED THE NUMBER MANY TIMES FROM THE WHITE LABEL. LXPCEOX1409211243112000 PURCHASED P.C.WORLD 16/08/2009

Hi Ron,
Is it asking for a serial no. or a product-key? The upgrade should have come with a Product-key. It would be formatted in the same way the upgrade program asks for it.
For example: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
Check again. Or comment back with more details about what is happening.
