Question about Canon imageCLASS D661 Digital Printer
After plugging my USB connection from the printer (Canon ImageClass D661) to the Laptop docking station Plug and Play detects the printer and installs it.
Following the installation an error comes up that says:
Cannot configure parallel port.
If you are installing on an active port other than the parallel port, you can continue with the installation.
Of course I choose Yes since I had picked the USB001 virtual printing port during the installation. It does not ever print the test page despite stating that the printer is "Ready."
Right clicking the printer icon to choose "Properties" and then choosing the "Ports" tab and then trying to configure the checked port "USB001" it gives the error message:
An error occurred during port configuration. The operation is not supported.
What do I do to get this printer to print?
Have you tried all USB ports? or installed the drivers?
