My recently installed the above graphic card on my pc. Everything went fine a few days after, I was able to play games and everything. Then one day, my adaware started altering the registry keys on my system. my exe and lnk files have been corrupted. But then again, thanks to a site i have visited i was able to fix the registry keys. After the fixing, it created (i guess) a new problem. Almost all the games i have installed before cause my system to restart. I am able to reboot the pc but the pc fails to flash the blue screen where the message "welcome" is. all i get is a black screen with blue shades below. Then the pc restarts again. this happens all over again. I tried fixing the problem myself. first, i uninstalled and reinstall my graphic card. It worked for sometime, but then a game caused the problem to come back. next, I used system restore, and reinstalled the graphic card. Currently my pc is ok, except that I can't open all the games I have before. I am afraid of opening them because of these frequent restart thing. How can I fix these problems? Please help By the way, my OS is XP SP2, pentium 4 1.6GHZ, with 640MB RAM.

The section on Nvidia Graphics Cards applies to you.
The Nvidia website is the best secure place to download the drivers from.
Remember to insert the information in the spaces provided on the Nvidia website to get the best drivers for your graphics card.
http://www.gigabyte.us/support-downloads/download-center.aspx http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx
The first link is for Gigabyte downloads. I recommend Gigabyte for a first time download because they have added doodads you're only going to get from them. To update driver you can use AMD(second link) who may have a more recent driver and maybe, better Catalyst Control. It's a little tricky to do. 64 MB video card with support for hardware transformation and lighting required
Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
56.6 Kbps or better modem for online play
So judging by the listed above you could play, but set the graphics detail to medium first and if the game moves in slow motion, set them on low details.

i play WoW and i recommend you get at least 2Gig memory and with that card you need to run the game in low settings. The 5200 series card is not high end gaming card. If you have pci express slot i highly recommend a 9600GT. But first upgrade to 2Gig RAM
