Have changed all ink cartridges and done a deep cleaning - is showing wrong cartridge as being the problem - but all of the cartridges are correct and still not printing.
Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem.Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

My canon pixma mp780 has brand new toner in it. It won't print black, press copy black and it comes out green. I has cleaned the heads, restarted, taken all the toner out and replaced it- I even had a second new black to try and it didn't help. Any ideas?

Had paper jam and cleared it. Unit continues to show alarm and simply says "check printer and press ok". We do this and nothing changes. We also turned the unit off hoping it would clear and that failed to correct the problem?
