Hello,
The white screen is caused by the power supply board not providing the correct voltages to the display driver board. Check our web site at: www.ccl-la.com We have repair guides for many LCD monitors and there is a guide that will work for your LT982 monitor. If you don't want to do the repair we do offer a repair service for $35 plus return shipping.
