Sony kp-57ws500 flashes blue, green, red then turns off

Re-insering the flyback wire is usually very easy. Push in and give a slght turn and check to see if grabbed. It sounds as if there is more issues than flyback wire. TV should turn on without one crt connected

Screen flashes ble, then tv turns off

This is a common problem on that model, you have a bad blue tube, it is shorting out and the tv is shutting off to protect from furthur damage. Sony had a major problem with this it is not uncommon to have more than one tube bad. To have one tube replaced by a repairman will run you $500-$700 let me know if I can be more help?
