Problem with my viewsonic vx2233wm lcd monitor

Hi and Good Day!

I just noticed that when ever I see dark gray or dark blue colors or any other color that are dark but not totally black, I see a waving pattern only on the colors i mentioned above, similar to what you see on a CRT monitor when it's set to a lower refresh rate. It's annoying and makes me dizzy. My refresh rate setting on this monitor is 60Hz and I couldn't get any higher than that. This monitor is connected to my laptop via D-SUB. My laptop's video card is Nvidia GeForce Go 6100. I dont use my laptop's lcd screen when i connect this to it. I hope you can help me with this.
