Hi
If you hear like whirling sound and vibration on the TV,it looks like the color wheel bearing is loosing balance and is hitting the housing unit,the color wheel spins @ 5000 rpm you will definitely notice when is going off i have this link that i found i hope it helps http://guides.fixyourdlp.com/samsung/bp96-01579a.php?click=52978 it's not your TV model but at least you will have and idea of what you need to look for.
