I have purchased creative T6160 5.1.It has 3 output jack. It's working fine with my PC.Now i want to connect with a DVD player. Please tell me, will it support by DVD player or which company's DVD...

I'm not sure I understand your question but, if you have an external DVD player, they probably will not work with it because you can't hook to the speakers directly. On the other hand, if you have a DVD player in your PC and your PC is capable, you can play DVD's through your PC. You may need software and if you want to play Bluray, you would need a Bluray player for your PC that, you may be able to add if your PC has an empty slotor, you could purchase an external USB player which will do either. Please clarify what you are trying to do.
Thanks,
Dave

Connect Creative 5.1 A500 speaker system to Phillips DVD 3256

moz-screenshot.jpg 2d65f17.jpg
Just buy two connectors(shown above). Its having two holes upside.
1. Connect the connector to one hole of the other.
2. Connect the audio cable to the dvd.
3. Then connect the connectors to the other side of the audio cable.
4. Lastly, connect the three stereo output cables of the Creative speakers to the three holes of the connector simultaneously.
I have tried this at home with my Creative Inspire M5300 speakers and philips dvd. All the five speakers are working.

Creative Inspire 5200 speakers connecting to DVD player.

These are computer speakers, they will not work for a dvd player... Your dvd player has an rca/collex (SP) cable while your speakers have a 2.5 headphone style jack

Hi.... I have purchased Creative inspire 5200 speakers arround 2 yrs back. i was told that it can be used for DVD players & Home theaters also. Yesterday i purchased DVD player which has an out put port...

Without knowing the DVD player I can't advise you. Because I don't know what the "port" is on the DVD.
The creative uses colour coded cables for the channels. What you will need is an adaptor cable, if the DVD player does not have individual sockets, like a computer has.

Connecting Creative t6060 to my philips 5.1 dvd player

Hi Guys,
I am teh person who started this thread and I am happy to find the solution. The problem is not with Speaker but it is with DVD player. Infact it is not a problem, it is the setting which needs to be changed.
Go to the Setup menu and change the Speaker settings and set it to MultiChannel. This will give you sound to rear and center whenever it has to.

Hope this helps as it has to me.
