I tried updating drivers but various check software and troubles shooeter says they are up to date. Dveice Mgr says these hardware items are working OK. DMA is selected. Had PC for a while and this happend eventually with Scanner and cmanera that wer epart of package. (Became incompatible). CD and ROM are integral to PC when bought. help!Phil

I have purchased and installed LG RW CED 8120B & ROM CRD 8822B devises in my PC a few years back. Now some how the drivers for the above got corrupted and not working. I have reinstalled the drivers from the original CD copied in to a pendrive and installed the devices through pendrive as the CD ROM devices are not recognised by the system, though they are attached to the system and the system configuration says they are present with an 'exclamation mark' on them. On reinstallation, the system says, they are not compatible with latest Windows XP version, contact the supplier. Can you please suggest a solution at the earliset. Dr. G V Narasimha Rao
