I have a TAPPAN oven, the bottom element does not work. I think I need to replace it. The model#MEF303PGWC serial#VFO1539095 How do i do this, can you send me a diagram and instructions. Do you know where i can purchase the element, I live in Amsterdam N.Y. Could it be something else that causes the element not to work? Thank you
If your bottom(bake) and top(broil) elements both do not work, you could be running on 110 volts. An electric range runs on 220volts. and if only one leg of the household circuit kicks off, the range top still works. The first thing to do is reset you circuit breaker and try it before replacing range parts.

It is a gas stove and the burners work. It was preheating when this happened. No noise. Help? Is there a fuse?
