The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Whats the best way to transfer my infomation and programs to a newer computer

For content, if you don't want to transfer it all to a flash drive and then transfer it to the new machine, register for an account at any (or all, your choice) of the following sites:
Dropbox (2GB free) (15GB free)
Welcome to OneDrive (15-23GB free)
Once the programs of your choice are downloaded and installed, use them to back up your personal files to the internet. Then, on the new computer, install the programs and allow them to sync. This will download them from the internet. Move the files out of the folders to free up space, wait for the removal to sync to the old computer, and go back to the old computer to move more in to be moved over. Repeat this as much as needed to have all of your files moved over.
For programs, transfer any installation files you still have (the program you download and then click to install) through the cloud storage programs from above that you choose, then use these .exe files to install to the new laptop. If you don't have the .exe files lying around, then you can either hunt them down individually on the new computer (in which case, make a list from your old computer) or use a service like
Ninite Install or Update Multiple Apps at Once (it's free, by the way) to mass download/install most common programs so that you don't have to go hunting for them.
For programs that were installed via disc, you're probably just going to have to install those on the new machine the old fashioned way. You cannot just copy/paste program folders (though it's tempting) because installing programs writes values to your computer's registry, which cannot be transferred and certainly don't tag along with the program files installed on the computer. These registry values are what tell the computer how to handle that installation, so while some programs MIGHT work, most will not work well or at all without.
Hope this helped!

We have a free download of Photoshop 7 (with Bamboo Fun graphics tablet) We were told that it didn't need internet access in the shop except for downloading we now can't use photoshop7 it freezes. What is...

I don't think manual will help you fix this, but the main problem is how did you obtain that free copy? Are you sure they are authorized dealers? We need to understand that most and almost all the free softwares on the net contain malicious contents if they are not from trusted sites. Suppose when we get a free software from a website, they add some more additional files with the actual program files and will automatically run when you start accessing the program, (who knows viruses, malwares, spywares, worms,etc...there are many and it's their wishes and they can do whatever they want with it since it free). This happens because they need something with it, and so we need to understand the quote; "nothing is free". If you really need the photoshop, you can look at the trusted sites like and remember not to download cracks and keygens.
You can try uninstalling it and reinstalling after running a registry cleaning and restarting your computer. If possible, open the task manager and check which program is using the maximum cpu and memory usage (open the task manager, click on the processes tab and look at the lists available, and now open the photoshop). There is another chance that it's conflicting with another software/program, so be careful with every steps. If possible, please uninstall another additional graphics or photo editing software and try again.

Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Have hallmark program, recently it is not working

Well for one you have shared common files that both roadrunner internet software as well as Adobe's software. But if you have the original CD for the Photoshop you can re-install the software and then it should reset the program to its original state. If it still doesn't work after that. Then you should uninstall teh roadrunner software. Because i use roadrunner to connect online as well, and you don't need the software to connect as well. The only reason you need that is if you are dependent to the email and roadrunner sub programs they have. But even if you do, you can always use those softwares as a web based throught the site. And to the part of you can not uninstall the older programs is it because you don't want to or because you can't find the uninstall option in the Add/Remove Software section of the control panel of Windows? And if that is the case if you go into the directory folder for photoshop, which should be located at C:/Program_Files/Adobe/Photoshop7/ , there should be either in the main folder a file labeled uninstall.exe.

Photoshop 5.5 & 6.0 wont open or install

This would probably from a corrupted Installation. Try Uninstalling your product first then reboot your system. Retry installing from your installer afterwards. If this does not fix your problem let me know.
