Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone
It depends on how you connect the phone to your pc. If it is a cable then you need the drivers. If it is bluetooth, the OBEX protocol will give you file access through My Computer. Also when you go to see the files. Where do you go? (For example C:\Windows) Where did you purchase this cable. Good companies will give you relevant software as well as the cable.
The phone may have different directories for each cluster. For example this file system may be simlar
| -----DSC2047a <--Your files will be scattered throught
| -----DSC3493a these folders...
Your phone has a special way of organizing its file system, usually by date created, or something like that. Then it will organize in folders by this certain criteria.
Surely snoop around all areas of the phone to find the pictures you are looking for. If you cant find them do a search, but first make sure you have hidden files shown (From any windows explorer windows on the menu bar choose: Tools>Folder Options>>View Tab. Under the view tab there is an option inside the scrolling box "Show hidden files and folders"
During the search make sure you go to advanced options and allow your search to include hidden and system files as well. Look in the phone to find the name of the picture, then type
it into the search with the target being your phones root directory. Also using Bitpim (to learn everything about bitpim and usage go to www.bitpim.org) this is one of few free programs to get into memory of your phone. very easy to use, but read the website to know how it works.
