Question about Nikon D70s Digital Camera
I connect the camera to my computer like i always do but today it wouldn't pop up, and i already trying looking for it on my computer but i cant find it. How do i get my pictures from my camera to copy to my computer?
By far the best advice I can give you is to not hook the camera up to your computer. Ever. Not even for firmware upgrades.
Use a CF card reader. You can usually find these on the internet for <$15. I've gotten them for as little as $7. (Make sure it says CF, since nowadays many are only for SD, and the other mini card formats.
Any modern operating system will recognize the card when you plug the reader in to a USB port, then you can just drag the files, which are in a folder on the card, onto your computer. Ignore the other files on the card, they are not of concern.
Last thing, when you put the card back in the camera -format it. This should be done rather than either having the computer delete the files or allowing it to format the card. This will allow the camera to avoid writing to bad locations and prevent you form losing images.
I hope that helps.

You may have corrupted the driver for the device ( your camera) have you tried reinstalling the software?
