Hi i have a deskjet hp 845c printer.The problem i have is that the 3 lights keep flashing then the power turns itself off.Ive tried upluging it and changed the ink cartridge.Please can you help?

64-bit printer driver for hp 845c deskjet

Hi there,

there is no software / driver for 845c, a basic driver that allows you to print is already included in your computer, just plug in the printer and turn it on and it should work - get detected and you should be able to print.

just make sure you actually select the printer when printing.

that's indicate error code with ink cartridge, open upper cover ink cartridge must in the meddle, if so remove power replace the ink and clean encoder strip by wiping clean cloth. check also that ink docking / refilling station not yet full.

Hp 845c orange light keeps flashing

When the orange light is flashing, either paper jam or ink problem is happening.Try unloaging & reloading the stack of paper in the main tray. Remove & reinsert ink cartridges in the printer. You may also clean the contacts of the cartridge and inside the product.

Printer has all lights flashing

Remove all ink cartridges. Then unplug your printer and plug it in again

try to clean the nozzle with clean cotton w/ alcohol i think your cartridge has getting clog..or maybe it's getting empty!

HP845c Printer.Left off printing no 5 out of 17 pages whilst I was out of the room.Top and middle lights flashed. Kept trying to turn off and on- no success. Bought newq cartridges but same problem. Have tried both old and new cartridges in singly.Have olid stel rod/bar but not solved problem. Can you please offer any help- Stan

It is require servicing if you can open the cover and apply some lubricant oil on the steel rod it will fix the problem otherwise show it service center.
