Re: I need the instructions for syncing the guitar to the...

You'll need to find the sync button on the guitar, and then hit the sync button on the 360 (next to the black bar sensor thingymajig). They'll start flashing and eventually connect.
The sync button on the xbox is right beside the 2nd controller slot lol And the button on the guitar is beside the Mic slot. But first u have to push the xbox button on the guitar

Connect guitar to star wars xbox

The sync button is in between where the strap goes at the back, and the Ethernet port. The little black button. Same size as on the controller and console.

How do i get my guitar to sync with my xbox?

Hi, look for the sync button on the guitar, once you have found this all you need to do is switch your xbox on and wait for it to come on now when its on and the game is loaded or you can do this before you load the game, now you see the little round white button on the console its below and to the right of the dvd tray, well this button is the sync button so press this then the green lights should spin round the power button telling you its searching for wireless devices now when this is spinning round you can either press the sync button on guitar or if it dont have a sync button just press a few of the buttons then the spinning green light should stop telling you it has synced it and you should then be able to use it with no problems.

let me know if you have any further problems ok

please rate this solution and leave testimonial as i have pages of unrated posts as askers forget to leave a response or rate then answer, thanks

Our xbox 360 was working fine, now the guitar won't connect / vice versa with the system. We have unplugged, changed batteries etc... does this mean we need a new xbox then

Maybe your guitar is old. when did you buy it? It's probably not the 360, but your guitar. So if I were you I wouldn't waste money on another 360, but I'd buy another guitar. Like you said, your 360 is working fine.

If it is a xbox 360 guitar, it should have a sync button. You would connect it the same as a wireless controller. Turn the xbox and guitar on. Press and hold the sync button on the guitar until the ring of light starts flashing green in a circle, then press and hold the sync button on the console (small white button next to memory card port), until it does the same thing. The two should both stop flashing within a few seconds, and the guitar will be connected.

My guitar would not connect to the counsol

Hold the sync button down on the guitar, then hold the sync button down on the XBOX console, it's a small circular button to the right of the memory ports. After a few seconds they should sync and it should now connect.

Guitar hero wireless guitar with PS2, guitar sync light seems to flash normally, but the receiver on the PS2 seems completly dead, can we change just the receiver part ?

Yes you can change just the receiver. There isn't anything wrong with your guitar so just change the receiver. The wireless guitars work with any other PS2 wireless guitar hero guitar receivers.
