Yahoo email opening very slow or not at all

though i need to know the error message..
is it so particularly in case of y-mail..??
is the page not opening or the mailbox..??
or ur using outlook express like software..??

however there may b various reasons behind this particular problem and is vry hard to answer precisely..!!
did u check ur user-id n password to b correct..retype them..see if it had been changed..!!
u may hv a slow connection..
may b d spam filtering is preventing..
the windows firewall is limiting the site..
may b ur antivirus is doing so..
some spyware/trojan horse also may play foul..
sometime it also depends upon the browser u r using..
may b it is black-listed or restricted by using 'content advisor' (in case of ie) in ur computer by some user or the above..
may b it is being filtered by the 'phishing filter'..
there may b possibilities that the site may contain 'active content'..
or may b 'ssl' or 'tls' versions r nt enabled..
try reinstalling os..

increase the virtual memory size: open'Run'->type"sysdm.cpl"->click on 'Advanced' tab->click open'Settings submit button underPerformance->click on 'Advanced'tab->here u'll find 'Virtual Memory' settings->click open 'Change'submit button in here->type the 'Initial Size (MB): 1440'; MaximumSize(MB): 2880'..->click 'Set' submit button->pressOK->OK->Cancel..->now restart the pc..

hv a licensed and UPDATED antivirus installed (i prefer avg/kaspersky, , without updation a full version antivirus is useless)..

remove all unnecessary software from add/remove programs..

alsocheck the ram(s)..open it/them, rub itz teeth gently with a eraser, toremove any oxide and or carbon formed..resit them again into theslot(s)..
