My phone's display went crazy. it keeps on dissapearing and sometimes it shows just lines and i connot see anything. the rest of the phone functions are fine.

Did you try pressing the FN (function) key and F8?
F8 should have what looks like a computer or tv on it in blue.

I have LG KU990,problem is when I switch it display with one black line in background. When I turn it of it will dissapear. But when I on my phone again it came back.W hat may be problem?

Pick a spare button and label it CALL LOG. Now press PROG that button and dial 54 STORE. Ooh, it should light up. Now press it and your display will show 3 of the 4 lines of CID info from the calls to your set. The navigator button will show the rest, just keep pressing the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT buttons. When you run out of items to display, the light and INCOMING CALL display will go out.

If you press 54 and the 3 digit number of your incoming call group (maybe 601 by default) it will follow the incoming calls to the entire call group.

same problem, broke my screen, ordered a new screen off ebay and replaced it. now it works fine most of the time but sometimes external display freezes. sometimes goes black, sometimes goes multicolor pixelated (full screen, in blocks, or lines) when this happens sometimes touchpad still works, others not. removing battery usualy temporarily fixes.

Try a new LCD and see if that works but you should take the phone to a mobile service center and have it checked

replaced the LCd to correct this problem

Have you tried a restart?
It might work if you turn it off for 3/4 hours with the battery taken out.
If your phone is on for days/weeks without being switched off it sometimes gets a bit lost in itself.
Also delete all the pics, txt msgs (in outbox, draft, inbox, reports), and applications you don't use.

u need to repaire ur display, so contact service centre, if it is in warranty period then replace free display.
