When i print the ink is so light it looks like a blank sheet

my printer is new and so are the cartridges when i ask it to print, the ink is so light that it basically looks like a blank sheet of paper? i don't know why it wont print correctly?

get some paper towels and boil some water put in in an old coffee cup. hold the ink cartridges over the water (not in) the steam will clean out the nozzles on the cartridges. the ink will run a lil bit (hence the paper towels) give the printing a go again.
