The above has the Vista and XP drivers for the vx-3000 personal web camera from Microsoft.

If you have Windows 7 the older drivers may work in emulation mode.

Often the XP drivers are compatible with Vista, but you can always check if there is a Vista driver for the life cam. Check the Microsoft website, or use a driver finder program to locate the right driver.

Your cam has the old driver and does not work with window 7 check with the manf. to see if they have an updated drive for it or you can try the universaal driver in window...hope that help.

the dashboard don't work on my lifecam vx 3000. i lost cd so i download from web and its not the same software that came with the cam

I WOULD UNINSTALL OLD DRIVERS.REBOOT AFTER UNPLUGGING CAM THEN DOWNLOAD NEW DRIVERS.REBOOT.PLUG CAM BACK IN VISTA WILL RECONIZE AND INSTALL NEW DRIVERS.RICHARDM69
