Question about LG Electronic LRA516 DVD Recorder
I have had my LG system for a bit over a year. In the past month or so it has started mis-behaving. On commercial DVDs as well as ones recorded on the system, it occasionally goes to pause during playback. Less often it goes all the way to STOP and sometimes PIP pops up. I have tried removing the batteries from the remote controller to be sure it wasn't falsely generating the signals. What do you think may be the problem and what should I do about it?
Hey my LRA-750 does the same thing were it goes to pause and sometimes totally stops. Mine was not under warrenty so I opened it up and pull the parrell conector that connects the LED front panel display to the main controller board. This fixed the problem and was able to play the movie but you loose all control of stopping, playing, pausing so now im working on getting control back using the remote

It sound like the LRA-750 processor board has developed a fault, it may be in its remote IR sensor circuit or the main micro-controller. If it's still under warranty I'd take it back the the store where you purchased it and get it exchanged. Some LG items have a warranty of up to 3 years, check yours on-line, at the LG website.

your PC/ Laptop and log in to windows.
Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'
A 'System Restore' window will appear.
Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next
Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.
Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are
facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.
The detail of that particular date should show "System

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.
After reboot your problem should be resolved.
