ECS made three versions of the L7VMM mobo.

1.L7VMM ver1.1
2.L7VMM ver2.0
3.L7VMM ver3.0
(And revisions in-between these)

So without asking you what revision number is on your mobo, (Motherboard), I compared the specifications out of the Motherboard Manual for the L7VMM v1.1, L7VMM 2.0, and L7VMM 3.0, to the specifications of eMachines Support for the eMachines C1641 Desktop computer.

eMachines Support page for the eMachines C1641,

http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html?cat=Desktops&subcat=C%20Series&model=C1641

(Click on the + sign next to Specifications)
The Specifications of the eMachines C1641, match.

All three of these motherboard's spec's fit. The revisions has nothing to do with the motherboard chipset used, processor socket, ram memory, or any other major hardware component. The jumper settings are the same.

This is why I feel comfortable with giving you the link to ECS Support, and the Motherboard Manual download page,
for the ECS L7VMM ver 2.0

http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=419&DetailName=New&DetailDesc=L7VMM2%20%20%28V2.0%29&CategoryID=1&MenuID=82&LanID=9

Disregard the following if you know how to download a ZIP file, and unzip it. (Unzip. Save it to your computer)

ZIP files are compressed files. When a file is too large to easily send over the internet, it is compressed. One method is to make it into a ZIP file, or ZIP files into a folder.

On the above ECS link, scroll down to the very bottom of the page where it states,
English manual for L7VMM2 PCB : 2.0
Release Date: 2003/03/28
File Size: 829KB

Now you have to chose a Server download site. You're supposed to choose one that is close to the country you are in.
I usually choose China, because it is a fast download server. Not because it is close to my country. (The file will be in English no matter where you download from)

Go to the blue down arrow with China to the right. Left-click right on China.

A small window will come up. Left-click in the middle of the empty circle to the left of - Save File. (A green dot should now be in the middle of it)
Go below to the right, and click on OK.

Watch the download progress bar, let the file download all the way.

Now, if you do not have your downloads set, to download to your My Documents folder, this file will be saved to your desktop screen.

(A yellow folder icon with a zipper on it) (Windows XP - Click on Start>My Documents to go to your My Documents folder)

In either place Double-click right on the file name. In the next window that comes up, go to the top Left, and click on Extract All Files.
In the small windows that come up click on Next, Next, and Finish.

Now you will have a small window in front of you with a Adobe PDF icon, and the file name to the right of it. L7VMM2 (2.0)

Double-click on L7VMM2 (2.0)

You are now looking at the Motherboard Manual for your eMachines C1641 Desktop computer. (ECS L7VMM2 v2.0)

Page 13 shows you the factory settings for the Jumpers.

Have any more questions? Just come back and state them.
