I had the same fault. After searching for advice from various websites I tried using cheaper tablets and filling the salt dispenser. Instead of using the latest Finnish tablets I changed to Daisies from Tesco. Have since completed over 80 washes without the problem recurring.

Fdd914 dishwasher error code A10 appears and its not in the booklet

Hi, the interpretation for error code A10 is: A10 = fill solenoid valve triac closed/open circuit - check valve/ operation - machine drains until level switch resets + 30"

Now, to try and solve the problem yourself: Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher & remove the hose, Run the machine for several minutes in a normal position. Turn the machine off, reconnect the fill hose, turn the water back on then turn the machine back on.

If this doesn't solve the problem, then you'll need to call a service person.

Friend got a hotpoint FDW 80 need to no is it hot water supply or cold?

Connect your dishwasher to the HOT supply line. The most common method is to connect to the hot water supply line in your kitchen. Before running the dishwasher, it is also a good idea to turn your hot water on to allow the water in the line to heat up. This will reduce the time is takes for the dishwasher to heat the water for the wash cycle and cut down on the cost of electricity.
