Hi, I have a Bose Sound Dock system that I need repaired. It was sorta working but the power cord was loose and it would fade in and out unless you put something on the cord to apply pressure. I work for a telecommunications company and I brought it in to have someone in manufacturing look at it and they found the place where the 4 prong electrical cord plugged in was loose on the circuit board. They then attempted to solder it (on our solder bench under a magnifying glass) and now the unit has no sound (but it does still recognize the ipod and charge it). I don't know if the board is shot or if it can be repaired OR if there is another component in there that powers the amp?
