First thing to do,is,see if the compressor is running,it should be humming, and warm to the touch. There should be a fan running under the unit, cooling the condenser. And the fan in the freezer unit should be running. If none of these are running, check to see if there is current in the wall plug, maybe plug it up to a known hot, receptacle. If the fan in the freezer is working,or the condenser fan, check the thermostat to see if it is working. If it is,take a 120 volt, volt meter, and check the voltage going in the compressor,if it is getting voltage, and is real hot to touch, then it is bad,the compressor,or if it s not running, then it is bad.If the compressor is running, and the large line off the compressor is cold,or near it,then it may be just low on freon. So many things to check here.

- Look under the unit, and see if the condenser fan will turn,if you can get it back on,clean the condenser real good,if it is full of dirt and debris,so the cooling fan,can clean it.Now you may have to remove the thermostat and cross it out to get the compressor back on,the thermostat may be all that is wrong with it,if the compressor stays on,and the fridge cools, then replace the thermostat with a new one.It will take all night for the unit to cool down.
