On every device, PC, laptop, tablet or phone you need a program to transfer files to and from. The device has to recognise the device that is connected. It also needs instructions what to do.
On the PC, you also need a driver for the connected hardware, And if you want to move files (Pictures are files too) you need a transfer program. Most camera's do have a CD, with the needed software for Windows and Mac. Phones and Tablets need an App. Most transfer and phone view apps are free. And yes there are also apps you can buy, but even for Apple you can get photo (transfer and view) apps for free.
If you have an Android, goto the Google store and search for a free photo app and install it. (Snapseed is great and free)
Install the EasyShare software. Locate the CD-ROM that came with your digital camera. Insert the disc into the CD drive on your computer and follow the prompts on the screen to install the software. If you no longer have the EasyShare CD-ROM, you can visit Kodak.com to download the software and then install it as normal.
Connect the USB cable to your camera. With your digital camera turned to the off position, locate the USB cable that was included with your camera and insert it into the appropriate slot located on either the side or the bottom of your camera, depending on the model number.
Connect the USB cable to your computer. With your camera still in the off position, insert the free end of the USB cable that you connected to your camera to a free port on your computer.
Turn the camera on. Once your camera is turned on, your EasyShare software will appear and it will locate your camera and sync it with the software. If the software does not begin, turn your camera off, wait 30 seconds and then turn it on again.
Select a location for your photos. Once your camera is recognized by the software, a pop-up will appear asking where you would like your photos to be stored. The default selection is the EasyShare folder but it can be changed to whatever location you would like.
Select your settings. Before being able to transfer your photos to your computer, you must select some important settings. These are important settings such as whether you want your digital camera to delete the pictures as they are being loaded onto the computer. You can also select whether or not you want your camera to automatically start transferring your photos as soon as the camera is plugged in. The options will vary depending on what type of camera you have.
Transfer your photos. Once all of your settings are selected, simply press the button that says transfer. Your photos will then begin to transfer from your camera into the folder you selected earlier.
You must have received a cord or wire that connects the camera to your computer. You 1st need to install and software that was provided to you in a CD along with the camera. Once you have installed the software, connect the camera to the computer with the cord. When ever you connect your camera to your computer it will run the software and give you an option to copy the photos. Or you will need to manually run the software and transfer the photos. Or You can remove your memory card from your camera and insert it into a card reader if you have one and transfer the photos.
When you bought the camera you must have got a cord or a wire which connect the camera to the computer. And also a software CD to install the cameras software on your computer. You need to first install the software on to your computer and then connect the camera to your computer with the cord or the cable. once you have done that you will have an option available to transfer the photos on to your computer. I suggest you to go through the manual which is available with the camera or on the CD which has a guide that helps you to do the same.
Well it appears that Curtis has discontinued all support for this camera. You might be able to obtain a USB connector that fits the camera online. Most use the standard/micro USB connector. As far as drivers if Curtis does not have it on their site then they might be tough to find. If you are using Vista the it might recoqnize the camera and install drivers automatically. If the camera has removable memory card you could remove the card after taking the pictures and put in the SD port of the computer and transfer the pictures onto it.
