If you want to try repairing your box its not
that hard and it will last 1-6 months
there are 100s of tutolals but the basics are
remove the heat G.P.U. heat sink then clean
of the G.P.U. and the heat sink .reapplie heatsink compound
on the G.P.U. get 4 10-32 -1/4 pan head screws and evenly
and firmly screw the heat sink back on .
put the PC board back in the case plug in the front power
button plug in the cd rom drive plug in the fan then place
one half of the fan over the Large heat sink and turn it on
the fan will start to speed up as the G.P.U starts to
heat up at 3-5 min the fan should be at full speed .
keep it over the C.P.U. ( large heatsink ) for the whole
proses after the fan has been at full speed for 8-10
min the unit will flash 2 reds unplug it and reassemble
The unit will now be functional , for 1-6 mouths it's hard to
say. That's the bulk of the what R.R.o.D repair guides say,
and It does work , but why pay for it??
if you have any questions just comment and ill respond.

There is no solution to this problem. Microsoft is refusing to address a well known engineering error, mainly that the whole box heats up including particular processing modules (The LSU, grrr!) They recently won lawsuits over people contesting them in court and they still refuse to release true failure rates of their ever popular xbox 360's. (Probably in the 80% failure rate range!) If you call M$, they will give you the run around and if your lucky, they'll put you in line to wait for 2 months to get it fixed for free, unless they find internal damage caused by force then they will stick you with the bill for repair charges. My advice is to trade in the broken box at Gamestop since they trade in broken boxes towards the purchase of a Playstation 3. I normally wouldn't recommend this, but at least PS3 wont break in first year of operation.

You may be connected to the out ports of the composit jack instead of the in ports. You can tell near the jacks that you plug the wii into you will see audio in and out as well as video in and out. Make sure it is in the in ports.
