I have a PNY micro sd card 4 gb and my when I insert the card in my pc it doesnt recognize it, instead I get messages like "The Request Could Not Be Performed Because of an I/O device error" What am I doing wrong

Hello.
Your card needs to be reformatted. If there were files, pictures, etc. on the card, this procedure erase all.
Here's a suggestion to try:
Open My Computer
Right-click on E: (Removable Disk)
Select "Format..."(Leave all options intact, except to change the File System dropdown to FAT32.)
Do not select the checkbox for "Quick Format".
Hope this helps.
