The bottom part of my iPhone touchpad is not responding at all, even though everything above the first centimeter or so is. The problem is, the bottom row is necessary for turning the phone on and for accessing the phone number pad. Please advise.
I followed the following fix and it works. all rows are working based on this recommendation. I can not go to apple as I have used ziphone to unlock the iphone.

First, wash your hands thoroughly. then, get a dry, absorbent cloth and wipe it over the iphone several times.
Then, Try Restoring. Plug it into itunes and click Restore When it pops up. Please note that this will erase all data on the iphone.

I have nearly the same problem only one row higher, so I can't write SMS and even the keypad of the Phone area is affected.
