Cannoty access the internet after installing IE8

You can un-install IE8 by doing the following: Go into the Control Panel, Uninstall a Program; on gthe top-left side of the screen, you will see "View Installed Updates". Click on this. Somewhere under "Mictosoft Silverlight" you will find an entry for IE8. Click this. It will be removed, your previous version browser will be restored. Hopefully all will be well.
