Common condition for this time of year and also 1st mowing in the spring. Debris from the gasoline supply and tank has settled in the bowl or jets of the carburetor.

Float Bowl Carburetor; cleaning main jet
1) remove the float bowl retaining bolt
*this is the main jet ... very small hole in the center of the bolt allows fuel to enter the inside of the carburetor

2) blow air or spray carb cleaner thru the hole in the center of the bolt

3) additionaly you may want to use a small wire (called 'tag' wire) to clean the center hole

4) remove the bowl to drain fuel/debris

5) you may need to replace the gaskets/o-ring for the bowl nut and bowl to carburetor body

*NOTE: for the future and winter storage, a product called StaBil can be used in the fuel storage can all the time, it will help condition the fuel.
