The keys I strike are not what appears on the paper.

The keys I strike are not what appears on the paper. Could the print wheel need replaced?

- I've taken the printwheel out and reinstalled it numerous times, but it still doesn't work right. One of the letters on the printwheel looks like it's bent to the side a little. I tried straightening it out, but it didn't help.

The printwheel has probably lost it's homing or is not installed properly.
Removed the printwheel and reinstall (should click). Inspect to make sure nothing is interfering with the printwheel spinning. (like the correctiontape etc.)

My printwheel also does not print what is typed. took out and put back in now what? How do you reset?
