Hi, I have a Hotpoint WMA36 Washing machine, for some reason the fabric isn't being taken into the machine, I've tried flushing the machine through on a really hot wash (with nothing in the machine) but it's not made any difference, any ideas on solving this?

- Same problem here, no water is going into the fabric softener side of the tray so it never gets taken into the machine.Any ideas?

Try removing the tray completely, and look inside the machine above where the tray normally sits, see if any of the holes look blocked and use an old toothbrush etc on them. Also take out the blue mesh partition part of the tray and see if the plastic pipe that the tray fits onto is clogged. This worked for my wd440 Aquarius. Good luck
