sound quit on dell demension 2400 is there a quick fix? i was listening to a radio show yesterday, there was sound. today there is no sound. i'm new at computers is there an easy fix for this problem
I'll go over the fix's for this problem in order from easiest to hardest.
1. Make sure the headphones or speakers are plugged into the proper port. (Green)
2. On your PC look at the bottom right on the task-bar. There will be a little icon of a speaker. Double click it and make sure the volume bars are up. You may have accidentally just muted your PC's sound. (You can also find it by clicking on the Start Button, Control Panel, Sound Speech and Audio Devices----adjust system volume)
3. Look at the application your using to listen to the radio etc. Make sure the sound is up on the application.
If one of these do not solve the problem post back and tell me your results and I will try to be of further assistance.

when using sonicstage softwere loadingcd to pc .The 1st cd ok, when Itry next one I get error 0000415. It seems that the only way I can load the next one is to shutdown the pc and then reboot and then it works for the next cd. Regards ,Dave Minchinton

I forgot to say in my last post that I do know about using Cntrl-+ or scroll to enlarge type size on the page. It just seems that setting the page width right, as you told me, wouldn't minimize the font size. ~Chuck
