Sony Vaio AR590CED - tv tuner

I have bought Sony AR590CE in Canada with a built in tuner hardware and I am currently in Russia. So, when I choose the region Russia which i think is SECAM signal, I get the message "your tuner hardware does not support the TV format for your region". Is it just a software issue that i locked for NTSC or the hardware as well?

No tuner error on sony media center

The problem must be either because of Hardware or software. You are saying that you already tried installing new drivers and softwares for the tuner card and checked, but its bad luck. So it seems the hardware device may be failed. So first ensure the hardware working properly by plugging tuner card into any of your friends system. If it works properly, then it must be surely software problem. We can try installing any other version of device drivers and softwares and make it work.

Goood luck.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-CR520E with a built-in webcam and I cannot get it to work at all. I tried installing the driver off the sony website and the additional programs off the sony eSupport site. In device...

Go to Device Manager
Uninstall the current driver
Go to system and Security -->Action Center of windows
Hardware and sound
Hardware and devices
It will fix automatically
