POINTER JUST STOPPED WORKING

IS THERE ANY REASON WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN MY POINTER WOULD STOP WORKING ALL TOGETHER LEAVING ME WITH ONLY KEYBOARD CONTROLS. I can't seem to find a way to get it working again so other than buying a usb mouse as the buttons don't even work on the laptop controls for the pointer either, i'm stumped?

Use Fn+F9... it should unlock your mouse.

Or try and update the firmware for the mouse or reinstall the drivers

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Replace the keyboard? If a few keys grouped together stop working, the matrix may be damaged, so replace the keyboard.

Wireless keyboard quit working all of a sudden. Changed batteries, rebooted still won't work. Wireless mouse still works.

DId you receive any drivers to use with the keyboard? If you did, try reinstalling them. If you dont have them, search google for the model of the keyboard you have, and try to download them and install them.
If it doesnt work, the best thing to do is to call the customer service from where you bought your keyboard. They just stop working sometimes for no reason. If you still have warranty, they probably will give you a new keyboard.

Acer laptop touchpad

1. Have you spilt anything on it ?
2. Are you rough on it when clicking normally.

Not to many reasons it would just suddenly stop working, unless its going out...

Slow cursor

Hiya! Check your batteries (if wireless) and try a different mousing surface. They can be picky with reflective or transparent surfaces. If you want, you can check out the mouse curser speed settings by going to Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options. You should see a speed slider there.

I suppose you should reset the keyboard and mouse and maybe the access point itself. Try find small buttons on each devise and press them AT THE TIME. You may need somebody's help. Those buttos can by hidden under mouse and keyboard and should be on the top of the access point. This depend on the model, so please reffer to a manual.
