According to the pictures on the manufacturer's web-site:

http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloadfile&dno=4345&type=manual

the optical drive is on one side, beside the PCMCIA slot.

There is one button, in the middle of a 5.25" inch piece of plastic.

On the other side are the USB ports.
