I have a roper type
I have a roper type 111 top loading washing machine. It shakes extremely violent in the spin cycle and seems to be a lot louder in every cycle than it used to be. Can you tell me how to get the spin cycle down to a roar instead of a earthquake?

I'm only going to post this as a clarification since I'm not an expert on Ropers BUT... If this is a basic top load, direct drive washer, the following site can show you the components of the base units. In these are a number of springs and friction pads designed to limit vibration.
