Problem for Nintendo Wii Console

Eject disc and turn off console

By l_gatton on Nov 09, 2009

My disc drive had been getting increasingly louder over the past month or so. Tonight, I tried several games and receive the same error message each time. The screen goes black and reads "Error reading disc. Eject disc and turn off console, then retry." Now the disc drive doesn't even try to read the disc and there is no sound obviously. I'm afraid that I'll need to send it to Nintendo for repair.
