I own a GE Profile Dryer DPGT650EHMG Model for 1 year. Suddenly, it stopped working and the indicator flashes clean filter and a big CL flashes in the smaller window. We can't turn it off and none of the other buttons work including to start the machine. I suspect its a control panel problem.

Either there was a power spike or my spouse held the Control Lock (CL) button for 3 seconds, for the problem was that it was in lock mode. I merely held the two buttons for three seconds and it worked fine. Pass it on. ( It was one of those safety features built in to prevent children from accidently turning the dryer on.) thanks for your indulgence.
